VIS User Guide

VIS Admin

VIS Admin is a web based application that resides under port 10000 of the VIS installation. It can be used to restart VIS service and OS of the respective VISBOX among other tasks. Tasks other then those two should not be used unless instructed by the 2nd level support personnel.

Applicable versions:

• Available by default all deployments after September 2023. For any deployment where it is not available open a ticket to request it.  

How to restart VIS

Use the same IP as you would login to Visor UI but change the port to 10000

For example the Visor UI address might be 192.168.1.90:5000, then go to the URL 192.168.1.90:10000 for vis admin interface. You should see an interface like the following;

To restart VIS click the Restart VIS Service button.

How to restart VISBOX

Use the same IP as you would login to Visor UI but change the port to 10000

For example the Visor UI address might be 192.168.1.90:5000, then go to the url 192.168.1.90:10000 for vis admin interface. You should see an interface like the following;

To restart Visbox click the Visbox Reboot button.
