Adminstrator Guide/Regions
Regions
Chapter Overview
This chapter explains how to draw a region or change it's drawings.
Prerequisite
A region only appears in settings if it is already configured. For region configuration see
Modifying a Region
Accessing Region Settings
Administrators are given two interfaces for region management: Config Manager for settings and Visor camera tab for drawing the region lines. Configuration of regions will be covered in Vislets section.
Camera tab can be accessed from the navigation bar of the Visor and displays all defined cameras in a deployment:

A New Region
To modify a regions bounding box click Regions Settings button. This interface displays all regions defined in a Vislet and let the user modify and save.
A region that is not drawn yet appears as a small square on the left upper side of the camera view.

Modifying Region's Bounding Boxes
A region's bounding box is represented as a polygon with edges. Edges are marked with colorful circles.
- Drawing: To draw the region for the first time or just to modify its current lines, just drag on the "edges" of the regions and drop wherever you sit on the image.
- Adding edges: More edges can be added by a double click anywhere on the image.
- Deleting edges: Edges can be deleted with a right click on it.
A Vislet with Many Regions
Vislets are capable of hosting more than one region. This is how a Vislet with two regions look like:

Region selector
Users can only modify one of the regions at any given time. Selected regions has visible edges. To switch between regions you need to use the region selector on the right upper corner.

Note
Visor's region settings UI can only change drawing of existing regions. To add or delete regions use Config Manager.
Troubleshooting
- If the camera or feed is not accessible, region drawing UI does not load. Make sure camera feed is available to VIS.
