About Safety AI
As a system administrator you already know about Event Gates Safety AI, but this will introduce you to see what's under the hood.
Safety AI is an computer vision system that
- is able to host and run multiple deep learning models at once,
- provides fundamental functional safety features,
- configurable,
- customizable.
Use cases
Safety AI system can be used in many use cases where object detection capabilities need to match with an industrial level trustworthy and reliable application software. Beyond safety solutions with out of the box models such as PF that is capable of detecting persons and forklifts or hand detection model, Safety AI is also used with custom models to detect objects specific to the application.
Purpose of this Guide
This guide explains how to manage and maintain the Safety AI system using VIS and Visor applications. It covers tasks administrators performs during setup or troubleshooting. Daily tasks completed by end users are covered in Safety AI Users Guide.
