What is an Event?
Safety AI has Vislets that process a camera feed, regions to define zones of interest and hosts models that are capable of detecting trained objects (classes). When an object is detected inside a region it is considered as an event in general. Depending on the configuration of the deployment the system decides if an event will be recorded and if outputs will be modified. Since this guide is not interested in the configuration and administration of the system it will only focus on the event that are configured to be logged and that change output.
As a rule of thumb, whenever a decision is made by the Safety AI an event is logged with visual evidence.
Event Log
All logged events are kept under Logs panel of the Visor application. Logs panel is basically a list of all events and system logs which can be sorted, filtered and scrolled. An event is always associated with a camera
Viewing Event Details
Explain what information is available when opening an event.
Reviewing Evidence
Explain images, recordings, playback, etc.
Searching and Filtering
Explain how to find previous events.
Event Acknowledgement
Explain if events can be acknowledged and what that means.
Note
The available event information depends on your system configuration.
