Event Settings

Chapter Overview

See Event definition.

Configuring Events

Creating an Event

Only information you need to add a new event is an Event Id. This number must be defined in the system.

Outputs of an Event

An event can alter digital outputs of an IPIO. For that purpose it must be bound an already registered IPIO and output behavior must be defined as below.

Event settings

Actions

Each event can trigger different outputs and change their state as required.

Event settings - actions

Options:

  • Event End High to Event Start Low: Turns selected DO on, which means, output that was low at the start of the event (0) turn to high (1).
  • Event End Low to Event Start High: Turns selected DO off, which means, output that was high at the start of the event (1) turns to low (0).
  • Event Start Pulse: Set DO to pulse on IPIO defined interval.

Warning

An event must be immediately bound to a regions once it is created. Any change of settings to a new event without immediately associated with a region is disregarded.

Region Association

An event only triggers if a detection occurs in a region. For that reason it needs to be associated with the respective region under the Vislet page.

Event - Region association

Note

A region can be associated with as many event as available but doing so will result same detection to be recorded for each event.
